June Book Haul

So the good news is I only went out and bought like three of these. And four in boxes.  But then review copies and trades got me. Oops!

My haul is:

  • Chrysalis by Brendan Reichs
  • The Kingdom of Copper by S A Chakraborty
  • We Hunt the Flame by Hasfah Faizal
  • Other Words for Smoke by Sarah Maria Griffin
  • Final Girls by Riley Sager
  • The Nightjar by Deborah Hewitt
  • The Bone Garden by Heather Kassner
  • This Time Will be Different by Misa Sugiura
  • Birthday by Meredith Russo
  • Tangleweed and Brine by Deirdre Sullivan
  • Perfectly Preventable Deaths by Deirdre Sullivan
  • The October Man by Ben Aaronovitch

In my defence for the purchases, two of the three were anticipated pre orders! So it’s really not that bad.  Honest.  Really it’s not a bad haul, for me, but it’s just that…

My current physical TBR is 118

So despite a GREAT reading month, I only managed to knock it down by 2.  Cries.  And July has my birthday and YALC.  So basically, it’s going to shoot up! Oh well.  How did you do in June?

  1. I didn’t purchase any books in June because I’ve been on a book buying ban that doesn’t end until I go down to YALC. Normally I fail and cave, but this time it has been really easy as I’ve figured that if there’s a new YA book out that I want or it’s not on pre-order, I’ll just wait and get it at YALC. And I hope you enjoy Tangleweed and Brine. I read it at the end of last year and absolutely loved it. It was so good, I’m surprised I’ve not heard more people talk about it.
