Book Review – Hero at the Fall by Alwyn Hamilton

hero at the fallOnce, in the desert country of Miraji, there was a Sultan without an heir.

The heir had been killed by his own brother, the treacherous Rebel Prince, who was consumed by jealousy and sought the throne for himself.

Or so it was said by some. There were others who said that the Rebel Prince was not a traitor but a hero…

In the final battle for the throne, Amani must fight for everything she believes in, but with the rebellion in pieces, and the Sultan’s armies advancing across the desert plains, who will lead, who will triumph, who will live and who will die?

All the stars!! 🌟

Gah. I love this series and Hero was everything I wanted and more. A fitting resolution for all characters. I just have so much love. The ending has cause both mild sobbing and epic feel good.

I still love Shazad and Amani’s friendship the best – BFF love 💙

This was so well crafted, not a moment when I didn’t eagerly turn the page to find out what happened next. And I love the characters all having their flaws.

Sadly, I don’t think I can flail much more without spoiling, so suffice to say I highly recommend the series.  However, to make up for that, I plan on doing a full series review in a couple of weeks, so keep an eye out for that!
