Book Review – Crimson Soul by L L McNeil

Crimson soulSeila excels at demon hunting.

It’s more than her job—it’s her purpose.

And with half-Fire Elemental Damon and human demon hunter Tej at her side, she’s stronger than ever.

But there are some adversaries that are too powerful for the Phantom and her friends to take down.

Kouzlo leaders Fallow and Claes call in all their allies to take on the Desolation—a demon of unimaginable power released into the world by Gorath, an Elite Demon bent on destroying Earth.

It’ll take everything Seila has to subdue both demons, and even with the might of London’s Kouzlo behind her, it may not be enough to stop them.

But with her soul at stake, Seila is willing to do anything to triumph.

With demons, dragons, and kick-ass characters, this is a new demon hunter series that you can really sink your teeth into!

I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

What an end to the saga of the fight against Gorath! I loved it. Seila has continued to grow on me and it’s great to see her perspective slowly change even if she occasionally falls back to her old ways. I felt that her friends needed to be a little more understanding in places though!

The ending itself is great – the fight felt perfectly staged. And while this is the end (for now!), there are still many things left unknown! In fact I always couldn’t believe it ended there!! Hehe. But I definitely see this as a reason to encourage more readers to this series so we get more 😉

This is honestly such a fun and interesting urban fantasy novella series and I definitely recommend it.
