Book Review – Slay on Tour by Kim Curran – Blog Tour

I’m part of the Slay On Tour blog tour! I’m so excited to be sharing this book with you all 🙂 Don’t forget to check out all the other blogs on the tour too!

SLAY are BACK…and this time they’re headed to Tokyo to track down another hell-raising demon.
When they’re invited on tour with a super-cool band of holographic girls, SLAY find themselves whisked off around Japan – until strange things start happening on their tour train.
Suddenly it seems it’s not just SLAY’s fans following their every move…

My rating:Â

I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
Slay are back and still super fun!! I dare anyone to read this series and not enjoy it.
I really liked how Japanese mythology wove well into the story – I’ve read a couple of other Japanese inspired books recently and it was nice to see similar elements. I also loved the holograms, even if I couldn’t understand why you would go see a holographic band play live 😉 – that actually seemed very Japanese, l loved it.
Slay on tour is fun and lively and full of demons. In other words, brilliant. Milly fits in well, but I like most her decision at the end. And I like Tom dealing with his changes and the darkness. For a series that stays very lighthearted, it dealt with that element really well.
I definitely can’t wait for the series to continue – look out London, they’re on their way!
