My F/F February TBR
So you may have heard of F/F February, hosted by the amazing Imi and Ellie. They put in a HUGE amount of effort each year to create loads of publicity for sapphic works, including their amazing masterlist. It celebrates all things sapphic and includes bi and pan characters.

If you’ve not heard of it, PLEASE go and check it out. They have even included AO3 style tags for some of the books which are hilarious. And it’s such an inclusive list too, as you can hopefully see from the graphic.
There are so many amazing books on the list, so I decided that I should create an F/F February TBR for the month! I will, of course, be reading beyond this list, but this is a great excuse to read some books I’ve been eyeing for some time – both from my bookshelves and from afar. (Oh no, I’m going to have to buy books!)
I have picked eight books, so this is pretty doable for me, and I should have plenty of space to mood read around them.

The Weight of Stars by K. Ancrum

The irony of this book being on the list is not lost on me. I got a copy of this because Imi told me I needed to! And I’m sure she’s right, and I’m excited to find out.
Having recently read one of K. Ancrum’s books, I am intrigued to read more. I’m sure I’m in for an emotional ride.
Fireheart Tiger by Aliette de Bodard

I am so excited to FINALLY be reading a book by Aliette. We’ve been chatting online occasionally for a while, and I am a failure because I still haven’t read the copy of The House of Shattered Wings I have.
This is a book that apparently has only ONE male character, and you know? I am so hyped just because of that! And many other reasons too – it sounds really excellent. But I just thought that was a fab fact and a nice switch on old school fantasy 😉
Also, now I have an excuse to buy this 😀
The Midnight Lie by Marie Rutkoski

I got this in one of the last Illumicrate boxes I bought, and I honestly don’t know too much about it, but the blurb sounds intriguing.
I hadn’t realised this was f/f until I saw it on the master list though, so I’m excited to give it a try and learn more.
We Unleash the Merciless Storm by Tehlor Kay Mejia

I read the first one of these, We Set the Dark on Fire, last year and really enjoyed it, and I am so excited to listen to the sequel.
With a choice between duty and love, and political rebellions, this is going to be soooooo good.
Ash by Malinda Lo

I have been eyeing this for actual years, I have no idea why I still don’t have a copy but this is the year I *finally* get one.
Plus it’s a cinderella retelling! You all know how much I love retellings.
Criers War by Nina Varela

I think I got my copy of this from Moon, and honestly I don’t know much more about it than it’s f/f.
I’ve heard a few rave reviews and a couple of mixed opinions, so looking forward to see where I fall on that scale.
This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone

I feel everyone I know read this in January and really enjoyed it, so I added it to the list!
I know it’s told in letter form across different time lines, but that’s it.
Despite it’s length, I am actually a little nervous because it’s so well loved!
A Desolation Called Peace by Arkady Martine

This isn’t actually out until March, but I have an early copy to read and I am excited about it as I really enjoyed the first one.
I actually may reread A Memory Called Empire before this – partially because it’s the Space Sirens February book (if you’re not aware that I’m a part of this, check our our YouTube and Twitter!)

So that’s my F/F February TBR! What do you think? Have you read any of these?
I may try and do a round up review of all these books once I’ve read them all if that would be something you’re interested in? Let me know!
