Book Review – The Everlasting by Alix E Harrow
I would honestly read Alix’s shopping list at this point. There’s a point 100 pages in that literally had me gasping and losing my mind and from then on I was completely hooked.

Book Review – The Bookshop Below by Georgia Summers
I always love books about books and bookshops, and the premise of this sounded so intriguing! The concept of magic coming from books and bookshops via the river? Sign me right up!
-
Book Review – Crucible of Chaos by Sebastien de Castell
I am a huge fan of Sebastien's work, and the Greatcoats series is honestly banging. So I was most excited when I found out Estevar was getting his own book!
-
Book Review – The Drowned Woods by Emily Lloyd-Jones
I was apprehensive about this, as it sounded (and is) very Welsh, but is written by an American. Well, whatever magic Lloyd-Jones employed to do this worked! It is stunningly atmospheric and beautiful.

Book Review – All of Our Demise by Amanda Foody and C L Herman
I simply adored the first book in this series, it is dark and tricksy, and just generally great fun to read. This finale to the duology is no different, I am happy to say! I'm honestly already tempted to reread them both :D
-
Book Review – Bronte Tempestra and the Lightning Steeds by Bex Hogan
Bex is one of my favourite young adult authors and I was so excited to see her branch out into middle grade books - especially as Bronte is aimed at the younger end of that category, something I don't see a lot of. Plus it's illustrated and there are maps! I always love to see those.

Book Review -The Warm Hands of Ghosts by Katherine Arden
This just continues to prove to me that anything Katherine writes I will read with great abandon.

Book Review – Once Upon a Summer: A Folk and Fairy Tale Anthology
ften wary of anthologies, as the stories can cover such a wide range and don't always fit my tastes. Well with this one, I needn't have worried. I liked most of the stories, and loved more than a few! I definitely think wintery fairytales is the way forward for me :D There's such a great spread of ideas in this, but all still managing to come together really nicely.

Book Review – Glorious Poison by Kat Dunn
What a finale to this wonderful series. It was everything I hoped for! This little crew really have my heart.

Book Review – A Vow So Bold and Deady by Brigid Kemmerer
I feel that the promise of this series from book one comes through more here than it did in the second.
