So I’m doing something a little different with this post! It’s to kick off a giant set of book review posts, but specifically about all the books from the first year of Book Box Club – my favourite subscription box.
It’s my favourite for two main reasons – 1) Kate and Libby *clearly* put in so much effort for each box, and it comes across in what they pick, and how they individualise things. I love that every box has a note or an item with my name on. So simple, and it means a lot. 2) The clubhouse chat. Chatting with the author of each book is great, and gives lovely little insights into the books that I adore. But it’s the chatting with the other members that makes it for me – I have made so many new friends who are lovely people, and I adore getting to giggle with them each month. Not to mention Moon who has become one of my closest friends really quickly!
So yes, I am hugely biased when it comes to this box. And I always will be 😀 One of my other favourite things is that the girls pick books I wouldn’t necessarily have picked for myself. So I wanted to review each of the books so far and share them with you in the hope that you, too, will find some books you may have otherwise ignored. I will be posting one review every other day over the next couple of weeks, and I hope you enjoy them. Let me know if you find a new book to try!
