I was so excited to get an email about this, as I’d finished All the Stars and Teeth the day before! So I eagerly replied and have been waiting until close to release since!
This really picked up well from the first book. It has a gap of a couple of months, but you get back in the swing of things well.
Amora is definitely traumatised by the event at the end of AtSaT, as well as grieving, and this is well displayed throughout the book. I loved how it was dealt with and the conversations around it.
You really get to see Amora being determined here, and not always on the right things. I love to see a queen with doubt and trying to do the best for her people.
And omg the ending! So perfect, but it made me cry so much. My poor little heart.
4.5 stars.

I haven’t read any of this series but I know that a lot of people love the books and this is a great review! A book that makes you cry is sad but brilliant!
