Book Review – Murder on the Safari Star by M.G. Leonard and Sam Sedgman
This series really is wonderful! Honestly, I just want to go on awesome train trips around the world. They are so full of love for trains and mysteries, it really shines out from the books.

Book Review – All the Stars and Teeth by Adalyn Grace
Ooh, soul magic that includes bones and teeth and killing people? I'm so in. :D And THEN you add in a pirate and mermaid and monsters and questing? Hells yes.

Book Review – Even if we Break by Marieke Nijkamp
I seem to really enjoy Marieke’s writing, and when I learned this had queer and autistic rep, this book shot up my TBR! And I’m glad I did, this was another one I marathoned through in one go, I couldn’t put it down.

My F/F February TBR
So you may have heard of F/F February, hosted by the amazing Imi and Ellie. They put in a HUGE amount of effort each year to create loads of publicity for sapphic works, including their amazing masterlist. It celebrates all things sapphic and includes bi and pan characters.

Book Review – One by One by Ruth Ware
One by One is a tension thriller mystery, with an alpine setting and a snowed-in cabin vibe to go with it. The whole thing is a company retreat for 9 posh people who work at a tech firm, one ex-employee with stocks and two cabin staff. It honestly sounds like a nightmare to me!

Book Review – The Challenger (Contender #2) by Taran Matharu
This book is such honest good fun, and we continue on with both the action and adventure we saw in book one. It branches out away from the competition a little, but finds another instead!

Book Review – The House at the Edge of Magic by Amy Sparkes
This is a fun but simple read, and nice and short for less keen readers! We follow Nine, a thief with her own self-interest at heart, into a world of magic where she has to help the house break a curse. Flabberghast is perfect as a young but easily distracted wizard - he had just the right amount of silliness.
-
Book Review – The Two Lost Mountains by Matthew Reilly
High octane, ridiculous, and full of wonder. Reilly continues to impress and amaze with these books.
-
Book Review – Seven Devils by Laura Lam and Elizabeth May
I thought I'd enjoy this going in and I really did. It's honestly fun from start to finish. I always like a good rebellion, and I found the politics in this to be very intriguing.

Curly Hair Maintenance for Beginners – A Guide to how I Manage my Curls
What's this, I hear you ask, a post on hair care on a book blog? I know, I know, and I'll be back to your regularly scheduled book reviews soon, but I have been thinking about this for a long time. I feel a lot of people don't realise just how different curly hair is from straight, and therefore do lots of things that aren't good for their hair.
